Expressions, Impressions, and Whatnots....
While I may not have a significant other today and most of the people I know think of today as a commercialized holiday, any day that reminds us to tell those we love that we love them, can’t be all bad. It’s too easy to take our feelings for granted and to assume that the people we care about know how we feel about them. However, while those we love are often quite cognizant of our feelings, saying “I love you” is a gift that we should give to those we care about whenever we can. Just like in work, we want recognition for a job well done, few people get tired of praise or being told that they are loved. Saying “I love you” can make a world of difference in someone’s life or reaffirm and strengthen an existing bond. Three simple words…..admit that you care for them in a significant way. We are all afraid of expressing our feelings and emotions that may create a place of vulnerability, but it’s important to share our feelings with those that matter ...
